Free On Board The meaning of trade term is the price of free on board at the port of shipment. Specifically, it means free on board (specified port of shipment), which is usually called free on board at the port of shipment. Under this term, the buyer is responsible for sending a ship to pick up the goods, and the seller shall load the goods on the ship designated by the buyer at the port of shipment and within the specified period specified in the contract, and notify the buyer in time. The ship's rail is the dividing line. After the goods cross the ship's rail during loading, the risk borne is transferred from the seller to the buyer. Under FOB terms, the seller shall bear the risks and expenses, obtain export licenses or other official documents, and be responsible for handling export formalities. The seller shall also provide documents at his own expense to prove that he has fulfilled his delivery obligations as required. If the document is not a transport document, the seller may provide assistance to obtain a bill of lading or other transport document at the request of the buyer and at the risk and expense of the buyer.

Our company can provide customs clearance and offer bill of lading for client's self-pickup. Alternatively, clients can handle customs clearance by themselves and opt for self-pickup.
